A Buyer’s Agent Success Story
When we first met Kevin and Mary, and their kids, they had already started the process of getting pre-qualified but they were worried about all the details. Neither felt sure about their price range.
Kevin shared that their lease wasn't up until several months later, and he didn't know if they could get out of it. Mary said she didn't know if they had enough money to cover the down payment and closing costs.

A Seller’s Agent Success Story
Paul and Jean knew they needed to downsize. In their 80's, they were both fairly active but could no longer manage to go to the basement to do laundry. The house was a split foyer, and the garage was on the lower level, as well. They invited me over to talk about their options.
Selling the home was a given. They were pretty sure they wanted to go to a retirement community in Columbia where their friends lived. The question was timing. Jean was ready to go as soon as possible. Paul was thinking about how to get the home sold and then move.
I toured their home, which they had owned for 40 years. It was well-loved and maintained but dated. They didn't want to invest in updates because their focus was on making the move sooner than later. I let them know I thought they could sell it in its current condition, especially considering the lack of homes on the market and the demand.
After reviewing my research on home sales, Paul and Jean set a price. We made a plan to get the landscapers in for a yard clean-up, and scheduled the photographer.
